The 12th Annual Pig Fest will explode in Historic Downtown Richland on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14, 2009. Georgia BBQ Association Sanctioned Cookoff.

Best news for this year: You can buy and eat the same BBQ the sanctioning body judges are tasting to determine the winning teams. The GBA allows the cook teams competing for prize money and trophies to sell their barbecue to the public. And that’s the best news of all!

There will be more and better arts and crafts exhibits offering fine art, photography, pottery, jewelry, and other handmade items for your body and your home. Favorite food vendors return, but there will be more variety. And the carnival is back. Gold Medal Shows will provide this year’s mechanical rides. See our complete schedule of events…

The Pig Fest will provide private security and City, County and State Police forces will be on site for the event. The Pig Fest will not only be more fun, it will be safer.
