2009 Pig Fest rolled through second weekend of November with familiar features and new facets for record crowds!

Stewart Co. resident Manuel LaPaz got a lot of crowd attention with his 1941 Caddy convertible. The Pig Fest Car Show is one of the new features that created a lot of buzz.

Bikes are parked on Wall Street and ready for the start of the motorcycle games. A run before the games took the riders to Weston, Preston, and Parrot. The Run raised money in memory of Sammy Moore and the proceeds were donated to the Cancer Society.

The historic hotel posed all night behind the Albany Beverage Co. neon signs. Albany Beverage has been a long-time sponsor of the Pig Fest.

Albany Beverage also sponsored prizes for the Poker Run which collected more thank $800 for the Cancer Society in memory of Sammy Moore. Sammy originated the annual Motorcycle rally at the Pig Fest.

Competition BBQ was available to the public for the first time at the 2009 Pig Fest. Needless to say, it was a hit. Come back for more next year.
